About the violin
Jay Haide à l’ancienne violin is modeled after “Stradivari” which Jay Haide have taken particular care to copy the characteristics of a Stradivari violin with the meticulous care shaping the ‘f’ holes, scroll and arching. The violin has a golden ground coat with a beautiful orange-red varnish in a pattern simulating the patina of age found in older classic instruments. Spectacular maple wood and spruce was chosen for this violin.
