WESTMINSTER Violin E -String

Westminster E Strings are some of our favorite E strings. They are considered a “Universal E” because they seem to blend well with almost every set they are paired with. They have a very warm and pure tone, and are available in three gauges for further control.

The 25 is the light tension, for a lighter, sweeter tone.
26 is the medium, and is our recommendation to start with.
27.5 is the heavy tension and will give you the most power, and is also great to try if you are getting a lot of squeak when crossing over to an open string, as this string will many times eliminate that unpleasantry.
Available with a ball or loop end.
